BUTET SADDLES

Butet saddles are tailor made to suit both horse and rider and as such, are unavailable to order online. 

CLASSIC JUMP SADDLE

With a half deep seat, this is one of the original Butet saddles and still many people's favourite.

Narrow through the twist, this saddle offers an unrivalled close contact feel with the rider truly as one with the horse.

As with all Butet saddles, the materials used are second to none. The doubled calfskin used on the seat and knee rolls is soft and supple, whilst the cow hide used for the rest of the saddle is hardwearing and durable.

PREMIUM JUMP SADDLE

This beautiful doubled calfskin jumping saddle is handcrafted in the Butet workshop in Saumur, France. It is a traditional two flap jumping saddle, but has a calfskin top flap, for the ultimate in comfort and style.

Beautifully balanced, this saddle is as practical as it is stylish.

As with all Butet saddles, the materials used are second to none. Full, soft, supple calfskin used on the top flap, seat & flaps is the ultimate in comfort & durability.

CROSS COUNTRY SADDLE

The flat seat enables the rider to ride cross country completely unimpeded, relying on the beautifully balanced tree instead of a deep seat.

The saddle of choice for twice European Eventing Champion and Badminton 2007 victor Nicolas Touzaint as well as XC supremo and New Zealand team regular Andrew Nicholson amongst others, it is also popular with amateur riders who value the feel of this incredible saddle.

As with all Butet saddles, the materials used are second to none. The doubled calfskin used over all of this single flap saddle is soft and supple and yet extremely hard wearing.

DRESSAGE SADDLE

Handmade by the Butet workshop in Saumur, France, this beautiful dressage saddle is available in a single flap or double flap version and offers both horse and rider the ultimate in comfort and support.

This saddle is the newest in the dressage collection. It is the deeper of the dressage saddles and is ideal for the rider who likes the support that a deep seat offers.

The balance of the saddle creates an unparalleled close contact between rider and horse and enables the rider to assume a position that is both effective and comfortable.

The latest model has been updated with ergonomic flaps and the addition of bespoke knee blocks which can be made to suit each individual rider.
As with all Butet saddles, the materials used are second to none.

The leather used is soft and supple and yet also tremendously hardwearing. The latex injected panels heat up with the horse's body heat and mould to the shape of the horse.
